Recently Arduino has announced several new microcontrollers. The MKR WiFi 1010 and the MKR NB 1500 both have the same long skinny form factor as the Arduino MKR1000
. The MKR WiFi 1010 uses the ESP32 module to deliver 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth. The MKR NB 1500 is designed to work over cellular/LTE networks.
Two more boards were recently announced at the Maker Faire in San Mateo. The Uno WiFi Rev 2 (shown here) and the MKR VIDOR 4000. The Uno WiFi Rev 2 uses a new ATmega4809 chip and has 6KB of RAM. The MKR VIDOR 4000 is based on a FPGA chip.
All 4 boards will be available sometime in June.
